Our services

Alopecia

Alopecia can come in many different shapes and sizes, from small patches to total hair loss. Using the SMP treatment, this will give the appearance of a full head of hair with the 'buzz look'.

Pattern Baldness

Pattern baldness is very common in both males & females and can affect the crown area, the hairline or in some instances both areas.

Our recommendation would be to shave the hair for the 'buzz look'. This enables us to perfectly match the remaining folicules achieving that natural look.

Thinning hair

If your hair is thinning and you do not want to have the 'buzz look', SMP can create the appearance of thicker/denser looking hair by depositing tiny dots around exisiting hair.

Hair line restoration

SMP can be used to treat receding/thining hair lines for long or short hair. Working with the remaining hair and correct technique the hair line can appear thicker/denser.

Scar cover up

SMP can successfully camouflage scars on the human scalp. Should the scar be from past injuries or a previous hair transplant, depositing small tiny dots to replicate exisiting hair folicules will let it go unnoticed.

FAQs

Got a question? We’re here to help.

  • What is SMP?

Scalp Micropigmentation is the process in which a needle is used to deposit pigment in tiny dots within the dermal layer (Papillary) of skin on the scalp.

When each dot is placed precisely it replicates a hair follicule, giving the appearance of a full head of hair!

  • Why choose SMP?

Scalp Micropigmentation is the fastest growing solution for hair loss in recent history, SMP is non-invasive and is permanent.

It is also the onlycost effective hair loss solution to offer instant results!

  • Who is suitable for SMP?

Scalp Micropigmentation is suitable for both male and females that are currently suffering from hair loss.

  • How long does SMP last?

Scalp Micropigmentation is a permanent solution for hair loss and will last a lifetime if looked after the rightway!

We generally recommend one touch-up session every 3-6 years.

  • How long will the treatment take?

Scalp Micropigmentation is generally perfomed over 2-3 separate sessions.

Session 1: Foundation (Around 3-4 hours)

Session 2: Density (Around 2-3 hours)

Session 3: Perfection (Around 1-3 hours)

  • Is SMP painful?

There is no simple answer to SMP being painful.

    Everyone's pain threshold is different.

Some clients experience very mild pain, some find it irritating and some feel no pain at all and actually fall asleep!

  • Does SMP change colour?

    No!

We only use pigment that is designed for scalp micropigmentation.

Unlike normal tattooing, SMP is deposited shallower and by using an organic carbon based ink, this means the replicated hair follicule will fade over time but not change colour.
